Helpdesk Specialist

Our client is an automotive Tier 1 supplier has an immediate opening for a PC Helpdesk Specialist.

This is a long-term contract position.

Responsibilities:

· End User Desktop Support

· End-User Helpdesk Support using Helpdesk Ticketing System

· Ensures all incidents are resolved against SLAs

· Install Troubleshoot and Maintain Windows 7

· TCP/IP – Ethernet and Wireless Network Environment setup and troubleshooting

· Microsoft Office Suite installation and troubleshooting

· Printer set-up and troubleshooting

· Active Directory User, Group and Permissions management, AD profile and troubleshooting

· Workstation performance monitoring and optimization

· Configure and support workstations and portable systems for connectivity to the network both locally and remotely

· Install and maintain client PC Software including Anti-Virus software and updates on Workstation and portable systems

· Telephone / Cell phone configuration - move / additions / changes

· Some server administration may be needed – Server 2008/2012

· Other duties as assigned

· Additional skills desired but not required:

· Manufacturing execution system (MES) experience

· SQL server administration and SQL query creation experience

· Symbol Barcode Scanner configuration and support
