Dispatcher

Nature of work:

 

The Dispatcher is ultimately responsible for all Manufacturer vehicles with glass, tire, battery, misc. repair request. The Dispatcher’s roll is to be focused on achieving the daily objectives and delivering the end results expected by Management.

 

 

Typical Duties:
  • Daily emails
  • Daily entry of log sheets or emails-creating malfunction/ work order reports
  • Daily dispatching work orders to technicians, contractors, etc.
  • Daily call log for vehicles in repair /expediting repairs, updating holding report
  • Closing out work orders

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Correspondence, addressing emails, etc.
  • Computer software such as Word, Excel, etc.
  • Scanner, fax machine use
  • Typing speed 40 wpm or greater

 

 

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to handle multi-functions
  • Understanding Automotive Industry
  • Ability to communicate with Manufacturer and Management level personnel
  • Some knowledge of vehicle damages/ repairs
  • Ability to work proficiently and efficiently on a timely manner
